Feel free to skip this shamelessly indulgent, Woe Is Me post. It's completely ridiculous. I know this.

I think I've resigned myself to the fact that the Darren show in August is not going to happen for me. And man, it SUCKS. I'm just... I'm such an IDIOT. I knew the vacation was that time, I should have checked what day we were leaving before I got all excited and got all my friends excited and made all these plans cos now I have to back out. So, now I feel like a tool and an idiot and it just.... sakjdgh;lskdghr. UGH. I know there are worse things going on, but this, like, always happens to me. Something I've been looking forward to for months or whatever is finally announced and I can't go because I'm already doing something else. So, instead of watching Darren play a totally awesome FREE show with all my amazing friends, I'm going to be stuck in a car with my husband, our son and probably my mother-in-law making the first leg of the 17 hour drive down to South Carolina.

hey it could be worse. we JUST got my mom home from the hospital on Friday after she had been in since April 26th. It's always fun having doctor's calling and wanting to talk to mom when she isn't home and we have no idea just when they are going to LET her out.

I am sorry that you aren't going to get to go see this guy perform though.
