I vote for maple syrup, but only because peanut butter and bacon are massively awesome together, while peanut butter and maple syrup are only really awesome together.
I like Peanut Butter and honey, so I figure PB and Maple Syrup is probably just as good. I can totally vouch for Bacon and Maple Syrup! SOOOO good! But PB and Bacon? Erg...yeah, not so much.
I figure since I frequently eat PB and jam that maple setup is not that different, therefore I'd have ato go with bacon, as have never heard of those two together.... Am now intrigued as to how this poll came to be!
I used to put maple syrup on my bacon, and now I put it on my fake bacon, should I heat any. I would not combine bacon with peanut butter, though. I could *almost* see maple syrup with peanut butter. Many years ago when I was very broke, someone was over my house for lunch and all I had was peanut butter and bread. He didn't have any jelly, so he put sugar on his sandwich. I thought that was weird at the time, but not disgusting.
