I <3 U MIKE CHANG! Seriously, Mike is awesome and Harry Shum is amazing. Him teaching his mom how to dance? Stars and hearts in my eyes along with the Yosemite National Forest. Most adorablest thing ever. So, so happy for Mike and that he gets to be Riff.

KLAINE!! Yay Kurt for being an amazing boyfriend! Everything is Klaine and nothing hurts. They are seriously the most adorable and amazing and awesome couple on TV right now. Seriously.

I understand Mercedes' motivation a little better now having seen the whole episode. It wasn't just completely out of nowhere, it was the boyfriend poking and prodding at things that were fine. Don't get me wrong, she's still way out of line and needs a swift kick in the ass, but I guess I'm just glad to see they weren't pulling character motivation out of their asses.

Speaking of, Rachel Sucks. Seriously. Drop out of the damn race, be Maria and let Kurt win. You're being a really sucky friend right now. Stop it. I'm just really glad Finn didn't immediately switch his vote to Rachel.

Oh! Random note: there were actually TWO WHOLE INSTANCES of continuity from previous episodes! Both involving Tina - the vampire thing and the stutter thing. Just happy to see those little things thrown in there. :-)

Okay, this episode made me realize that I actually care about Mike Chang. ♥ SO ADORBS!

Kurt totally came through in this episode and I LOVE it. Klaine is the most adorable and wonderful couple on TV. (They are Wash and Zoe levels of amazing relationship.) The thing I love about them is that they are fairly realistic in their depiction of a real relationship. It's a partnership, and I love that TV is showing that and not just another drama-filled ~but-we're-sooooo-in-loooooooove fest.


Mercedes and Rachel both need to be kicked in the head, though Rachel harder than anyone else. If she actually thought Mercedes was better, she could have said so and still respected the director's decision. She was fine with sharing the part, so she wouldn't have been losing anything.

ALSO Mercedes does need to get over herself because her attitude at the booty camp was APPALLING. She wasn't applying herself or doing any additional work. Jesse discovered it last year—she expects to sit on her ass and have her ~talent do all the work. I hope Shelby kicks her ass, too, because she really needs it.

The vampire thing coming back made me laugh so hard.

They are Wash and Zoe!! I think it really helps that they were such good friends before they actually got together romantically. They are sooooooooooo in love. :-)

Rachel should have definitely spoken up in that office. She already told Finn she thought Mercedes did better, why not just admit that? Cos then she would be admitting she wasn't as good. Stupid ego....

I was thinking about Mercedes last night some more and here's the thing - she was auditioning for the lead in a musical. Did she really expect to not do any dancing during it? I mean, Maria has a whole freaking ballet solo during "Tonight". It's not exactly light on the dancing. Someone mentioned this on tumblr, but it could have been really interesting to have Mercedes get the part, but then lose it to Rachel because she wouldn't do the work. Right now, she just thinks her opinion of the "Rachel Berry Show" is being validated.

YES! The friendship makes all the difference and I love-love-LOVE that Glee is showing that. And I love that Kurt loves scarves and Blaine loves football and that we can see so clearly all the positive messages ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS. UGH. I want all teenagers to watch them, take notes, and then understand the Bella and Edward are the unrealistic ones.

Rachel's ego is going to be the death of her and I loved Kurt calling her on it. Personally, I wouldn't mind if she lost all her friends, but... poor Kurt who actually likes her. :(

THE DANCING IN WEST SIDE STORY IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING. I couldn't remember how much dancing Maria did specifically, but I had been thinking that as well. I just don't think Mercedes would be able to cut it as the lead in a musical—which doesn't mean that she's not a good singer, but it does highlight the fact that she has weaknesses. LIKE A HUMAN.

She's not wrong that Shu lets Rachel have a shit-ton of solos that she doesn't have to have, but this wasn't about Shu and Shu's love for Rachel. *nods*

I've never even seen or read Twilight, but from what little I know Bella and Edward are the worst model for a relationship EVER.

The thing about Schue and Rachel and Mercedes is that Rachel has proven how much she WANTS IT. All Mercedes does is complain that it's not her. Well, then, do what Kurt did and challenge Rachel to a sing-off/audition for the solo if you think you deserve it. Don't just sit on your ass going, "Poor me." That's not gonna help anyone.

I'm mostly spoiler free, but if your post is only about the IT spoiler, then I know what that is. So, I may stop by and check that out.

YES!!! Whining about how people aren't recognizing your talent doesn't make them notice you're more talented. Part of the thing people notice in Rachel is how hard working she is (I think that's the part of her that Kurt really likes, I mean, he made the suit he wore to prom—that kid is the definition of hard working).

I'm not sure what the "IT spoiler" is? The post is about the HUGE HONKING SPOILER everyone is flipping out over for 3x05.

He did!! Kurt is the awesomest boyfriend ever. They're so in love that if they weren't so adorable it would be disgusting. Seriously, if they were cartoons, Blaine would have hearts shooting out of his eyes anytime he looked at Kurt.
