Car Update

Hubby's car is currently at the shop awaiting the insurance adjuster to arrive tomorrow. The hood and both front side panels need to be replaced. As his car is a few years old (2005, I believe) there is a slim possibility they may total it. As both our cars are currently paid off, this would kind of suck to have to buy a new car. Even though I've been begging for a Touareg since we had Martouf, it's not the best time financially to add this on.

We're also trying to avoid having to get a rental car while his is in the shop. Since I work from home 3 days a week and go into the office later in the morning, it's gonna be tricky but doable. We think.

So, yeah. That's where we are....

*fingers crossed* that it works out. I can't stand when major expenses take over. I always feel like I should have saved up for it, but never get the opportunity to do so. That's kind of the 99% reality...

Hopefully we shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket as the other driver is 100% at fault. It's just the waiting to hear what the adjuster says and how long it's going to take to fix that's annoying. Grr....
