So, first off.... Perfect was released yesterday and I have not stopped listening to it. Seriously, that song is so amazing I just don't even know what to do with it. Honestly, it's what Candles should have been. I'm sorry, but Candles is the dumbest song ever and they sounded horrible on it. Honestly, after Candles I was really, really worried about any possible future Klaine duets whenever Blaine transferred cos it was that bad. But Perfect TOTALLY redeemed it.

And then Santana had to ruin the moment by being a huge bitch for no reason. As is apropos for her, but still. Shut up Santana and appreciate it.

Here's my thing, though - everyone was all, "We're here for you, Santana" and Figgins was ready to expel her for one slap. Where was all this support and punishment when Kurt was being bullied? And going through much worse than Santana is? Hmm? Yeah.....

Finn's version of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun did get me a little teary. That was actually very nice.

YA PAPA HUMMEL!! BOO BRITTANY! Disappointed, but not really surprised by those results. And, what is that? Actual consequences for Rachael?!?! SHOCK!! Now we know why there's no Finchel power ballad at Sectionals. This is gonna be interesting....

ETA: How could I forget this: BEISTE!! LOVED her bit in this episode. Jolene was the perfect song and I'm so glad she's not letting Sue get away with Cooter. Is this perhaps the love triangle that was teased earlier that everyone was sure would be a Rory/Brittany/Santana thing? If so, I'm in! Let the smackdown begin!

Oh gosh, I have SO MUCH SCHOOL META on the whole Figgins/Kurt bulling thing but I've got to rewatch stuff/not be drugged on headache stuff before I put it out there - but basically, she slapped another student in front of two teachers. They can't ignore that. AFAIK, no one actually saw Karofsky touch Kurt which goes back to why the Bully Whips came about etc etc.

I guess..... It's just... I don't know. Maybe it's just cos I'm old and this is now how school was when I was there. But the thing is, people DID see Karofsky shove Kurt. He did it in the middle of crowded hallways. There were witnesses. Just no one wanted to come forward, I guess. I don't know. It just like all makes me RAGE! on Kurt's behalf or something.

Cos everyone is treating Santana with these kid gloves like she's going to break if they say the wrong thing when she was/is one of the biggest bullies at the school. It just all seems very.... hypocritical, if that's the right word.

Yes! I mentioned on my Tumblr that I really wish we could get Chris & Darren singing the explicit version somehow. It'll never happen, but, yeah, in my head they don't sing the safe version in the car, either. :-)

I didn't like them forcing Santana to come out. That's her choice.

While Kurt and Blaine are too adorbale for words, I didn't really like their duet of Perfect. Didn't work for me.

Most of the music in this ep for me was meh.
