Friend looking for blog type thing

A friend of mine has recently become president of the homeowner's association for her condo building. She wants to set up some sort of blog-type site where information can be dispersed, possibly attach documents and stuff. The other thing is that she doesn't want it accessible to the public, so it needs to require some sort of log in to see the posts.

Does anyone know of any sites that might be useful for something like that? The only thing I can think of that would fit the log-in requirement is like a vBulletin posting board, but I don't know if she wants to get that involved with it.

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's all about the security settings ;)

I think Google has groups now too (similar to Yahoo!groups) but am not sure how they work...
