Last night, hubby and I went to go see Man On A Ledge and I loved it. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. There were some unexpected twists that I didn't see coming that were cool.
But for me, I think the best part were the supporting characters. Particularly, the brother and his girlfriend. If you're not familiar with this movie, the basic story is this guy has been convicted of stealing a $40 million diamond from some rich guy, but always claimed his innocence as most men do. He claimed that the diamond was never even stolen and the rich guy still had it. So, he goes out on the ledge of a hotel like he's gonna jump while the brother and girlfriend break in to rich guy's vault to prove the diamond is still there. Now, while they've been planning it for a year and have no doubt practiced everything as much as they could have, they are not professionals. So, when they're rappelling down the elevator shaft and stuff and they go to stop, they kind of flail around a bit as one that does not have much rappelling experience would do. And their banter is just great, really.
So, yeah. 4/5. Definitely go see it if you can during this slow movie time. :-)
