Falling Skies - Season 2 Premiere

Falling Skies is back with a vengeance! :-D

I really like how the episode opened in the middle of a battle. It really shows that even though some time has probably passed since the season 1 finale, not much is different for life in the Second Mass. Pope is still his badass self. Which I love. But, Colin was right when he tweeted that these first few eps aren't necessarily kid friendly.

It's interesting to see how Tom's boys have stepped up in his absence. Hal has really filled in his father's shoes and Ben.... I don't know what's going on with Ben but it doesn't seem completely on par.

That thing in Tom's eye was sooooooo creepy!! I totally cringed when that happened. Eww!!

I'm really excited for this season. If they can keep up this opening, it's going to be amazing.

That thing in Tom's eye reminded me of that scene in Prometheus.

What is Ryan Robbins suddenly doing there in Pope's Band of Degenerates? I mean, I know Sanctuary got cancelled but I'm pretty sure Falling Skies was filming long before that news broke. Not that I mind. I like seeing him, even if he does need a bath.

I noticed Ryan in some of the preview videoa that TNT has released. They finished filming season 2 a couple months ago so not sure on the timing, but I do like him and hope we get some more story on the new Berzerkers. There's a Pope's blog podcast thing up on TNT that gives us a little bit, but I would really like more. And I think we're gonna get it if the sneak peeks are anything to go by.
