Falling Skies

Despite the lack of Pope, I actually quite enjoyed this episode. ;-)

I've been enjoying the slow build of Hal & Maggie and I feel like they really set it up, well. I would have maybe liked to have had some resolution to Hal & Karen. Like, him acknowledging that she's lost, that she'll never be the same or something. But, I'm okay with what we have.

A skitter rebellion? Now that's interesting. After finding the harness on the skitters last season, it's not entirely unreasonable. I had been wondering about something like that or if we might get some more sort of backstory on where the skitters came from, etc. So, this is going to be interesting.

I kinda hate that they brought Rick back just to kill him. I mean, he was all sort of creepy don't get me wrong, but it seemed like kind of a waste. Ben leaving is gonna be interesting. How's Tom and everyone gonna handle that, etc.

I guess we'll find out....

I'm wondering if that was the same skitter we saw get the bug back in the eye that came out of Tom.

Oh yeah, and Pope needs to be back!

Yeah, that is the same skitter. "Red Eye" as he seems to be called in fandom. Which, that casts another interesting light onto the possible rebellion. Like, what info was he REALLY after if he was the one that put it in Tom in the first place.

I'm very interested in Pope's return. From what Colin has said in interviews he does not come back of his own accord, so I really want to know what it is that brings him back to the 2nd Mass.
