Why is it always one year later? Why can’t we see that year?

I’m kind of liking this Dean. Angry, raring to go, pissed off Dean. I like him better than scared, wimpy Dean, at least.

I get why Sam got out. He had no reason to stay. Although him apparently not even TRYING to find Dean makes me a little ragey.

THIS. I really don't want to believe that he didn't even try to find Dean, at least in the very beginning. I hope that we learn more about this as time goes on. Though the way he said he fixed up the Impala and just drove makes me think a little... was that a way of keeping Dean with him somehow? Or did he think that by driving around he'd somehow find Dean? I'm probably overthinking it, though...

I think with as far as trying to find Dean, where do you start? He didn't exactly die. He was just caught up in whatever wave of supernatural energy was expelled when Dick exploded. If Dean had still been somewhere on Earth, I'm sure the first thing he would have done would be to call Sam. The fact that Dean wasn't able to make contact probably meant to Sam he was somewhere that he couldn't.

And, yeah, maybe by driving around he'd hoped that he might somehow find a clue about Dean and fixing up the Impala was definitely a way to keep Dean around, I think.

It's gonna be interesting to see how their relationship develops this season.
