switch842: (Bobby1 - Some Lovin)
I've always loved the music videos that are like mini-movies. This one has always been one of my favorites. Greedy Fly by Bush. I was OBSESSED with Bush. OBSESSED. It was nuts, really. Gavin was the hottest thing I had ever seen and I had to know everything I could.

Anyway, here is Greedy Fly. There are some graphic images, so if anything squicks you, perhaps you may want to skip this. By the way, Gavin is a fabulous actor. Have you all seen him in Constantine? Amazing. He's just fantastic.

switch842: (Christmas - Tardis)
Since I missed last week, I'll share two videos this week. Not sure which ones yet. Perhaps I'll ponder that as I type up the rest of this post.

So, I am currently on my way to being inebriated. And I started at work!! LOL Today was our holiday party. We do an event during the afternoon due to something that happened before I started that threw them off wanting to do evening events. Anyway, we went to this local sports bar place (The Cubby Bear for anyone that might know). We had our summer event there and it was really great, so we decided to go back. I had a Smirnoff Ice. Yummy. We played Deal or No Deal. I was one of the "briefcase girls." So, I got to get all tarted up. And EVERYONE kept going on about how tall I am. Yes, I'm six feet tall. Yes, I'm wearing heels today so I'm closer to 6'3". Can we move on please? Anywho.... it was lots of fun. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I have left over desserts to get through the next couple days.

My husband is going to Paris on Sunday. He'll be back Wednesday or Thursday. It's for work. I wish I could go. Apparently though, he's only agreeing to go on the condition that the next time they send him (if they have to), I get to go, too! Yay!! I told him to bring me back something fabulous, like clothes or shoes or a purse. He's like, "I have no idea about any of that stuff." And he doesn't. So I told him, "Just find the nearest store marked 'Chanel'..." He laughed. "Uh, no!" LOL

Videos back here! )
switch842: (Hal - Scream)
This is a video of a live performance by Zero1 (formerly The Hal Sparks Band) on the Mike Bullard Show. I love this band. They really rock. Probably one of the best "celebrity" bands out there. I need to see them live. Soon. :-)

Enjoy!!

Tonight, I bring you a video by my favorite band ever - Matchbox Twenty. Love them. I've been to every show they have done in Chicago. They just rock. For me, anyway. :-) This is the video for "Disease." And, as I have a crush on Rob Thomas like the good fangirl I am, my one friend used to comment that he was talking about me in this song. LOL She's funny like that. It's a fun video, too. There's disco and roller skates and bright lights. Pretty cool.

switch842: (JB Film)
Earlier this week, I posted a link to a John Barrowman video and promised more. So, behind the cut you shall find several of my favorite youtube finds of his. Some are musical performances and a few are just acting appearance type things.

JB Goodness!! )

Enjoy!!! :-)

It's a two-fer tonight!! :-D And this is where you will find the diversity of my musical interests.

First up, Michael Buble. For those that don't know him, he does big band/swing type music. Which I love. The reason I love this song so much is that it so describes how I feel about my husband. If we were not yet married and going to be getting married soon, this would be our song. My favorite line is "And I can't believe that I'm your man/And I get to kiss you baby just because I can." Love that line!!

And now for something completely different....

This is actually a live performance. And I'm sharing this because the official music video was just too weird. And I think this sounds better than the recording anyway. It's Muse, Supermassive Blackhole. Obsessed with this song. LOVE it so much. ENJOY!!

switch842: (BJ Smut69)
So, ya know how I'm doing that smut69 thing? Well, I just finished another story. And then I realized it's the same premise as another story I wrote. The actual stories are completely different (somehow), but the basic plot point is the same. I must have started two different versions, finished one and forgotten about this one. Do you think it would be cheating to post this new one?

Anyway, as it seems Friday has become youtube day here at The Bungalow, I thought I would share this lovely gem from Disturbed:

I'm sharing this one today cos I was there!! :-D It was a few years ago at the summer festival thing the local rock/alternative station does every summer. It kicked ass. Disturbed headlined. And there were like 20 other bands there. I remember they had Fuel. And put them on at like 2:00 in the afternoon. And no one was there. It was so odd. The lead singer guy (whose name I can't remember right now) even commented on it. Anywho, enjoy Down With The Sickness.

Oh, and they're about to announce their big Christmas concert line up. I'm getting very excited!!

I have loved this song since I first heard it on the radio and finally decided to track down the video for it. Holy crap, is the lead singer a lot prettier than I thought. Not sure what I thought he looked like, but def not that. :-)
