I feel kinda stupid...

switch842I got Season 1 of House for Christmas (yay!!) and manged to watch it all while on vacation skiing. Or so I thought..... Apparently, the discs are 2 sided and I only watched one side of the discs! Duh! I wondered why there were some things I was missing..... Oh, well. I'll get to the other half some point. Hopefully, this weekend. :-)
Oh, and have people completely forgotten how four-way stop signs work? This same thing happens to me all the time and it happened again on my way home and it's so annoying!! I pull up to the stop sign and there are mutliple cars at two of the other stop signs. Person to the right of me goes. Person across from me goes. My turn. I start to go. ASSHOLE to the right of me starts to go. We almost crash I honk (and flip him off) and stare at him like, WTF? Excuse me, it's my turn. Jerk-wad doesn't even look at me or acknowledge that he messed up. WTF?!?!? Seriously, have people just become completely idiotic drivers. Grrrrrrrrrrr..........
On the upside, I start ballet again tonight. Yay! But that means I have to tape House. Oh, well.

When I first got the Dawson's Creek season 1 disks, it wasn't obvious that there were more episodes on the disks beyond the first menu page, so I never looked for them. They weren't numbered either, so I didn't realize I was watching them out of order and missing some.
The new Season 1 Atlantis disks are like this, too. The menu doesn't work right with my main (and favorite) DVD player. I can't seem to manage to use the arrow keys to get back to the main menu. When I press the menu button, it starts an episode (any random episode) about half the time. ??? I've never had disks do this before. What's wrong with simple text menues anyway? I hate all the animation and other extraneous stuff on the menu pages.
Four way stopsigns? What's that? hehe What I hate is the three-way ones that seem to be prevalent around here. When it's four-way, it's usually clear who goes next (except to the people where you live, apparently *g*), but when it's three-way, the fourth side (without a stop sign) clearly has the right of way and after that's clear, everyone else wants to go at once because they all think, "It's my turn!" It's every man for himself.
