So, I think I officially CANNOT stand the DJ/MS Thunk Thread anymore. It's all spam and people whining about how no one visits their ship thread anymore. OMG. No one goes to my AU Daniel/Sam thread now. Do I care? No. It was fun while it lasted. And people are soooooooo post crazy it's ridiculous. When did the point of the thread change to see who can get the most posts first? I dunno. I can't take it anymore. Which sucks cos I miss talking to some of the people on there (like Ronja and folk). But I don't know. I took like 3 or 4 months off and just came back to it a couple weeks ago. And already I'm just sick of it. And ya know what? During the time I was gone, I didn't feel like I was "missing" anything. But it's OK. Cos all y'all are over here now, anyway. :-) And this is a much nicer place to be. ((HUGGLES FLIST))

EDIT: I think this is my most popular post ever. I'm kinda proud of myself. :-)

I understand how you feel. I haven't the time like I used to for posting on a regular basis at GW, and I certainly wouldn't waste my time posting about "armsies" even if I did. LOL

It is rather mean of me to laugh at the newest posters, I suppose, after all they weren't there in that thread's heyday...yet I'm not sure they would understand most of the jokes we used to so love creating and sharing. All the cuteness (or KEWTness) there lately makes me think the age level has dropped to about 15, despite what their profiles say.

All threads wax and wane in both interest and maturity. It could just be time for a new crowd to move in and get all that adoration about Danny out of their systems. Who knows...they might tire of their own baby talk and move on quicker than you think. And some may yet catch on to the idea that 25 caps in a row isn't really contributing anything. We've all spammed from time to time (ahhh...how I miss my Sam/Danny runs...LOL) but we usually tried to add some humor or a theme or something so that others could join in. I think that was the key. I'm not sure the newest posters have really caught on to the idea of interaction and real conversation.

I doubt that the thread can ever go back to what it once was. Most of us are too busy to participate like we once did. And there are other places to play at GW. :-)

Oh, heck, yeah. I've been guilty of major spamming in the past (anyone remember my episode cap runs of 300 or so?). But yeah, I just don't think they're of the same mentality us "oldies" were. Which is fine. The thread has moved on. So am I.
