Icon Requests

Since I've become obsessed with the 10chevrons icon community, I thought I would see if anybody had any requests. Basically, you take one picture and make 10 icons out of it. So, if you have a screencap, promo shot, or whatever and you'd like me to give it a shot, let me know. :-)

I know! It's so awesome. Cos sometimes you get in an icon making mood but have no idea what to do. This gives you ten ideas! It's so great. :-)

It reminds me of the art exercise we did in school, where we had to take a small square, place it anywhere against the object of the lesson, and draw/paint what we see. One can do that with this 10-icon thing, too. :)

It's especially cool when you have a graphics program whose crop feature darkens the outside of the crop area, giving you a pretty cool idea of what to look at. Of course, what helps are the overlays and you and Sid and a few others have these really nice ones. Textures of course are good, but sometimes I find the 100x100 square a bit limiting so it takes a while longer to figure out what to use. For me, anyway. Most of the time, I just crop something and use it as is. *g*
