I was driving home today and since the weather is really nice (like, almost 80), so I had the windows down in my car. I get to this stoplight and there's this guy in a Chrysler Sebring convertable (one strike there) and he's BLASTING country music. OMG. No. You don't do that. Country music sux. It does not get blasted. Sorry, to those on my flist that like country music, but, dear God, it makes my ears bleed. So, anyway, I had been listening to the radio, but they were going to commericial, and, honestly, I could not let that crap win. So, I switched over to the CD player which was currently playing the Zero1 album, and oh, lucky me! It just happened to be on track 4 - Animal . Ha! Take that, yuppy scum!! LOL

But, anyway, can I just say how much this CD rocks? Like, seriously. It kicks ass. I know most of the time "actor bands" tend to suck *cough*Dogstar*cough*. But Hal just rocks it! I honestly have not stopped listening to it since I got it. It is just amazing. :-)

I'm with you on the country music thing. I'm also somewhat against anyone blasting their music with their windows open. Nobody should be playing their music loud enough anywhere that I might hear it. Even if I like the music, I don't want to hear the loud bass or the tinniness from someone else's car. I don't want to hear someone playing music outside, and I definitely don't want to hear my neighbor's music when I'm inside my house. hehe

But in a car? I don't like that either. 99.9% of the time, the people blasting music are playing *really* sucky music. I want to blast my own music, and I do, but not so loud that it's going to hurt my hearing (i.e. loud enough that other people can hear it). Also, I always keep my windows rolled up. *g* I don't care what the weather is outside, wind in the car blows the trash out the window *g* and makes noise so that I can't hear my own music and, yeah, I don't want to take a chance at hearing someone else's sucky music. *g*

I've never heard of Zero1. *g*

Eh. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. :-)

Zero1 is Hal Sparks' (from Talk Soup, Queer as Folk, etc) band. They're basically hard rock. :-D
