Video Friday - The John Barrowman Edition

switch842Earlier this week, I posted a link to a John Barrowman video and promised more. So, behind the cut you shall find several of my favorite youtube finds of his. Some are musical performances and a few are just acting appearance type things.
First up, "Maria" from West Side Story. Love this song. Love his performance. It's just awesome.
Next up, John with Ruthie Henshall doing "Anything You Can Do" from Annie Get Your Gun. It's great, very funny and shows how amazing John is all around.
And finally, for the musical performances, a behind the scenes from Torchwood of John singing "Anything Goes"

First up for the non-singing links starts out as singing, but goes from there. This is an outtake from a performance of Putting It Together with Carol Burnett and some other people. It's hyesterical, just watch it.

Next is his appearance on Friday Night Project. Which seems to be some sort of SNL type show in Britain. It's funny sketch type stuff. This is just the link to Part 1. You can then follow the links to the other parts from there.

Finally, is his appearance on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. It's some kind of celebrity quiz/game show type thing. Keep an eye out for the Gay Off. I almost fell off the couch laughing.

Date: 2007-11-17 12:06 am (UTC)I can remember having to learn "Anything You Can Do" back in elementary school music class. It's a terribly fun song and they put on a wonderfully entertaining performance of it.
Now I'm in the mood to watch Torchwood, but don't have access to my files yet... will have to remedy that tomorrow.

I missed Out of Time last week on BBC America, so I might need to break that out later.
But seriously, the Torchwood fandom is just sucking me in. Icons - check. Icontests - check. Wallpapers - check. LJ layout - check. Fanvid - check. Only thing is no fanfic yet. But we shall see when the muse strikes for that.
I'm also working on a fanmix for Torchwood. I've never made one before, but I think this could be good...
