I've randomly broken out into hives again. It happened sometime in January. Doc gave me Claritin (since Benadryl knocked me ON MY ASS) and some Pepcid (apparently it helps?). So, I just took a shower and a Claritin. Seems to be working already. But she said if it happened again to come in again and they would maybe try some food allergy tests. But there was absolutely nothing similar in the circumstances from this time to lasts time. I'm just so confused. Cos I am the world's pickiest eater. I like, eat the same thing every week. I really hope I don't have a food allergy cos whatever it is will probably cut out half my diet!!

No. dairy is mainly cow milk...but that also does include any goat cheeses and the true buffalo mozzerella.

the biggest food allergy offenders? dairy, wheat, corn, egg, citrus fruits, nuts and for some members of the nightshade family (tomatoes, potates, peppers, eggplant)

of course anyone at any time in their life can develop food sensitivites to any number of commonly ingested, loved foods.

if the symptoms are severe enough a person does what they have too.

i would also recommend SET allergy testing if your insurance pays for it. basically you would be tested for pollens, moplds and inhalants with small wheals placed just under the skin of the upper arm. much more detailed and complete than testing on the back. thats old school. and more painful.

Thanks Cindy! I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow to see what they can do. Ugh.
