Yeah! And then they have the most rabid fans, too! And more fans than the GOOD writers. Ugh. She asked me for recs as I left a comment that basically implied Orry was not good. Um, yeah, if you like Orry as much as it seems you do, you're not gonna like what I have to rec to you...

She's on crack. Definitely. She's gotta be if she thinks that everything just runs Orrymain's way, which means she's never seen a lick of an episode EVER.

I know!! And she commented that she loved how it followed their relationship through the entire series. Um, well, then you've obviously never seen the show. If you want to see someone do that right, read Joy's Interludes. But somehow, I think that's not gonna be her cup of tea...

I don't think it will be, but hey, I've been proven wrong on my own fronts from time to time... I've snagged a few of my own henchmen from the trenches of rotten fanfiction...

It would be nice to try to weasel some more of those "I love (AWFUL WRITER HERE)'s stories!" people away from the awful writers -- who I have also noticed have all the time in the world to write their crappy fanfics -- and on to us good writers who always need more reviews :D

Darling I have no idea what you are speaking of but
1. I agree, nothing is worse than bad fanfic writers who seem to get endless praise! Make me want to scream!
2. I love that icon and want to snag it! I swear it could be used for so many fandoms don't cha think? *grins*

I think so. hehe Orrymain isn't really hurting anyone with her stories, is she? People have different tastes.

My opinion: I think it's okay to think less of this person for liking those stories...but privately. hehe Does that make sense? Other people will make up their own minds about it and about her. She may be new to slash, new to fanfic, and maybe she just isn't very discerning. Maybe eventually as she reads more stories her opinion will change and maybe it won't, but either way, I think it's not a good thing to openly (publicly) mock her--or Orrymain. An honest critique is fine, IMHO, but ridiculing her (or people who like her stories) is not.

I may be in the minority on this issue for all I know, but that's what I think about it. I assume your question was actually rhetorical, though, right? *g* I'm answering this because it seemed like you were asking for opinions like in a poll, but if not, please ignore. *g*
