GRRRRRRR!!!!!! I'M PISSED!!!

So, the jaw surgery thing.... Saw the surgeon yesterday and we had tentatively decided on a date of next Wednesday (eep!!) depending on if I could get in to see my ortho today or tomorrow for him to put the surgical wires on and everything. So I call the ortho they can get me in today. Call the surgeon (well, page) and get a call back. THEY CAN'T DO THE SURGERY NEXT WEDNESDAY. And this sucks cos they're all booked up for June so the earliest would be sometime in July. I'm going to Hawaii August 9th. July is just cutting it a little too close. Now, I have to wait until after Hawaii for this fucking thing to be done. I don't want to wait. I want it done. I want it done now. I don't want to go to Hawaii with an extra 20 pounds on me cos I'm not gonna be wearing a bathing suit looking like this. Are you kidding me?? Uh, no. Not gonna happen. It's all my insurance's fault cos they won't cover it. So I have to go through the Cook County Hospital. Can't go through a nice private surgeon who can do whatever. Cos that costs $20,000. I'm so fucking pissed off right now, I don't even know what to do. I like, almost just want to be like fuck it. Take off the braces and I'll have a retainer for the rest of my life and try to go on a diet now and lose all the extra weight. Fucking hospitals. alskjdghpaeoiruerojg;aeo'eog

I'm sorry for the delay. Why are you having the jaw surgery? Did they make you gain weight for the surgery? I remember you being quite slim.

The surgery is to fix my overbite. It's what's causing my teeth to go back crooked when the braces come off. Yeah, I did have to gain some weight cos I didn't really have any extra. And I was counting on the surgery to take it all off before vacation! LOL

But it looks like things are getting back on track...

That sucks about the surgery. Insurance companies can be a real bitch to deal with. I hope it all works out for you, I know how much you wanted it done like now, And I'm sure not only for the wedding but also I would imagine it's scary and you want it over with.

I am so blonde I never realized you were in the Chicago area until you mentioned Cook County, I grew up in Elgin so I get all excited when I find someone from that area.

Yeah, dude, I am so freaking ready for this to be done. I've figured that after all this is over with, I'll have had braces for 10 years of my life. It's so weird, but it's hard to remember not having braces. It sucks. So ready for it to be over....
