Got back from the hospital about an hour ago. I'm pretty sure all your guys' positive vibes really worked! Things went really, really well. All the docs were pleased with how it all turned out. The pain really isn't bad at all, which is what I was worried about. It's mostly discomfort from all the swelling that is currently making me look like Eric Stoltz from The Mask. LOL But I've got some really good meds from the hospital so that should all be going down soon, I hope. Time to catch up on everything... :-)

Are you all wired up? Be careful of living off puddings and milkshhakes. I gained weight when I had a locked jaw once. The doctors made me drink them because they wanted my stomach coated so I could hold down my medications (jaw infection). I swelled up hugely on one side of my face. I looked like Quasimodo... I'm not kidding.

Of course, you deserve milkshakes today. :-D

LOL. I'm actually just shut with rubber bands. And I have gotten some healthier things to make into smoothies - frozen yogurt and some sherbert. Plus lots of juice. I put on 10 lbs before the surgery in anticipation of losing about 20 as all my doctors were telling me. Hopefully that'll be true! :-D

That's good. I was eating healthier at first like broth, but the codeine was destroying my stomach lining, so the doctors told me they were going to withhold the codeine unless I kept my antibiotics down. It didn't occur to me that I'd gain weight, I was so sick, but I did.
