Got back from the hospital about an hour ago. I'm pretty sure all your guys' positive vibes really worked! Things went really, really well. All the docs were pleased with how it all turned out. The pain really isn't bad at all, which is what I was worried about. It's mostly discomfort from all the swelling that is currently making me look like Eric Stoltz from The Mask. LOL But I've got some really good meds from the hospital so that should all be going down soon, I hope. Time to catch up on everything... :-)

Are you all wired up? Be careful of living off puddings and milkshhakes. I gained weight when I had a locked jaw once. The doctors made me drink them because they wanted my stomach coated so I could hold down my medications (jaw infection). I swelled up hugely on one side of my face. I looked like Quasimodo... I'm not kidding.

Of course, you deserve milkshakes today. :-D

LOL. I'm actually just shut with rubber bands. And I have gotten some healthier things to make into smoothies - frozen yogurt and some sherbert. Plus lots of juice. I put on 10 lbs before the surgery in anticipation of losing about 20 as all my doctors were telling me. Hopefully that'll be true! :-D

That's good. I was eating healthier at first like broth, but the codeine was destroying my stomach lining, so the doctors told me they were going to withhold the codeine unless I kept my antibiotics down. It didn't occur to me that I'd gain weight, I was so sick, but I did.

Good news, we get David Hewlett in Burbank!! Bad news, no Michael. Good news, I'm gonna play crazy for the weekend and fly up for a day!! I am gonna be SO broke!

Not sure how long I'll be completely rubber banded since I was counting on being wired first. But I have my first follow up on Tuesday and then every Tuesday for the next 3-4 weeks. So, I guess I'll find out in a few weeks what they say. I'll probably still be in this state for the July con with Colin, but hopefully the swelling will be gone by that point!

Yeah, I'll look a little different. My chin will be moved forward so my profile will be a little more in line. Hopefully that might even create the illusion that my nose is smaller! LOL

I saw the news on Hewlett! Yay!!!! So exciting. I must have gotten taken off Creation's e-mail list somehow cos I haven't gotten any kind of notification in months. I need to add myself back on. Sad news on Michael. :-( But I wonder if maybe that means he has a job and won't be able to make it? Perhaps Rage??

Yay Crazy!! But, poo! I don't get to use you as an excuse to get a hug. :-( Think I can still use my surgery by that point? LOL

You'll get a hug...trust me. I have my ways. ;-) And if you have surgery scars, heck yeah! Go for it! I'll back you up, dramatize the awful pain filled months you have to go through rehabilitating your jaw.
