Got back from the hospital about an hour ago. I'm pretty sure all your guys' positive vibes really worked! Things went really, really well. All the docs were pleased with how it all turned out. The pain really isn't bad at all, which is what I was worried about. It's mostly discomfort from all the swelling that is currently making me look like Eric Stoltz from The Mask. LOL But I've got some really good meds from the hospital so that should all be going down soon, I hope. Time to catch up on everything... :-)

So how long will you be "rubber banded"? Will you be done before your convention? How long will you be off work?

Not sure how long I'll be completely rubber banded since I was counting on being wired first. But I have my first follow up on Tuesday and then every Tuesday for the next 3-4 weeks. So, I guess I'll find out in a few weeks what they say. I'll probably still be in this state for the July con with Colin, but hopefully the swelling will be gone by that point!

Yeah, I'll look a little different. My chin will be moved forward so my profile will be a little more in line. Hopefully that might even create the illusion that my nose is smaller! LOL
