Had my first possible Buffy vid idea. But since I don't have the DVDs, I won't be making it. So, I thought I would put it out here if anyone wants it. It's to a (surprise!) Breaking Benjamin song called "You Fight Me." It would be a very angsty Buffy/Angel thing. Lyrics and link to a youtube "vid" are behind the cut.

I have all the Buffy DVDs but have never made a vid in my life (not so tech savvy). I ADORE Breaking Benjamin, though, which I felt was worth mentioning.

Glad we 'met.' So, who are your favorite Buffy characters? I'm all about Faith, Giles, Spike and Cordy. I mean, I like bits of all of them (except maybe Dawn), but those guys are the reasons I continue to watch.

Vidding is an interesting exercise. Can be lots of fun with the right project. Can also be frustrating, too, when things don't work like you hoped they would. Never thought I would get into it, but a bug bit me and wouldn't let go. I'm not too terribly tech savvy either, but the program I currently use (InterVideo) is so user-friendly it made it very easy to get through the first few.

I was lucky enough to win tickets from the local radio for the Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether show a few months back. So awesome. I think just about every song on BB's Phobia could be vidded for something. LOL

Let's see, Buffy... I just started season 4, so I haven't met everyone yet. But I do know about everyone, so don't worry about spoiling or anything. As for who I like most? Well, it's basically everyone BUT Buffy. LOL Which I find to be quite odd. I like the show well enough, but not the main character. How does that work?

As you can see from my recent LJ overhaul, Spike is definitely at the top of the list. James is awesome in Torchwood, too. Even though he was only in two episodes. Goes to show how amazing an actor he is, really.

Giles is completely adorable, as is Xander. I'm interested to see where the Xander/Anya thing goes.

I'll be starting Angel shortly, too. So, we'll see what happens with that... :-)

Faith's story gets told in more detail in Angel seasons one and four. She'll be back for the last five episodes of Buffy, but if you don't see what happens to her in the meantime (in Angel) you'll be a bit confused. She ends up good. One of the things I like about Buffy (and Angel and Firefly) is that hardly anyone is totally bad or totally good and Joss Whedon does a great job of showing how human everyone can be.

I did like Faith's storyline a lot and was happy to see they didn't completely kill her off. I'm getting the DVDs from Netflix and will be alternating Buffy & Angel. So, season 1 disc 1 of Angel is next up on the list...
