I'm on the Activities Committee at work and we're getting ready for the Halloween party. Anyway, each year I try to come up with "spooky" names for all the food. Like last year, we had barbecue pulled pork. I called "Barbecued Octopus (Now we know what really happened with the Kraken)". Cos, we were kind of doing this haunted pirate ship type of thing. So, this year we've decided to go with a simpler haunted farm type thing (hay bales and pumpkins, etc). And for the food we're getting sub sandwiches. Anyway, I am just STUCK on what to call everything.

Here's the menu:
~Turkey
~Ham & Cheese
~Italian
~Veggie
~Tuna
~Roast Beef
~Cole Slaw
~Potato Salad
~assorted chips

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!! :-D

The only scary thing I can come up with off the top of my head is to call everything tofu. :P

Oo! Those are good! But Italian as in Italian sub with salami, ham, etc. And Veggie as in Veggie sub. Not just veggies and dip. :-)

Okay well all the items already have really good ideas. I'll process with the hubs tonight, we'll see if we can come up with a suitably spooky name for an Italian sub and a veggie sub.

Hmmmm. Tough choice. "Haunted Farm" theme is cool, but subs don't give many options. But I'll try. And keep in mind that these names may not work -- or give anyone an appetite. :-p

~Turkey -- "Slaughtered Fowl"

~Ham & Cheese -- "Sacrificial Swine with Ghost Curd"

~Italian -- got nothing but "Murdered Mobster" ;)

~Veggie -- "Vegetarian Zombie"

~Tuna -- "Sea Ghost"

~Roast Beef -- "Butchered Bovine"

~Cole Slaw -- "Crispy Dead Man's Hair"

~Potato Salad -- "Cartilage Salad"

~assorted chips -- "Guillotined Bone Chips"

*gg* Sorry. Not exactly "Farm" related, but that's my offering and I'm sticking to it. *gg*

Hmmm... the coleslaw could be "minced cabbage brains" or something. And for some reason I want to call the chips "fried scabs." Yes, I'm a sick girl.
