So, I went to get my haircut today. And with the news that the wig got the OK for the Nutcracker, I was planning on it all being gone, chopped off, no more. Well, I decided to just let my hairdresser do what she wanted as long as she got rid of it.

Here's what she did:

And the back:

As you can see, she did the thing where it's super short in back and then has the long wispy pieces in front. And I just don't know. I mean, yeah, it looks nice and all, but I'm not sure it's me right now. Maybe it's just cos I was pretty sure I was coming out with some sort of nice little pixie cut. And, well, that didn't happen. I don't know. I know I can call her next week and go back in and have just chop it all off. But (and this is where I'm going to get completely superficial), there's the two cons coming up, and I want to look nice for the boys and everything. What do I do?!?!? Help me!!!!

It's a great cut, but like you, I'm not happy unless it's all snipped off. I say do whatever you feel most comfortable with, because if you feel better about it, you'll be able to rock it more at the con.

Before I went to Burbank I went nuts on the beauty routines (none of which I normally do) - waxed from ankle to hip, manicure, pedicure, eyelash tint, sunbed... Maybe I didn't look any different to anyone, but I felt like a million bucks and that made me so much more confident.

I know what you mean. I always primp myself, too. Then I don't need to worry about anything when I am there. And just, ugh. This hair takes to long to do in the morning and I was ready to be done with it and the damn shedding. *sigh* It's just frustrating...
