Here's what came out... (LOL)

1) Bobby's not dead!!! I cannot tell you how relieved I am about that. Now I'm wondering if that was a fake spoiler or something. Cos it couldn't have been talking about Ruby. She's not "beloved" or whatever it said.

Now, as to Bobby's speech to Dean about John. I've seen some comments about people having issues with it and specifically about Bobby calling John a coward. Now, I can see why people would have issue with that. And maybe it's just my perpetual optimistic side, but I didn't really take it that "seriously." I took that speech more as a metaphorical smack upside the head to Dean. Someone needed to do something to get him out of the funk/depression spiral he was in. And we all know how much Dean looks up to John. So, if it took insulting John's memory for Dean to snap out of it, well, then Bobby would do that.

2) Ruby is. Ding dong, the bitch is dead. Halle-frickin'-lujah. And how awesome was it that Dean AND Sam killed her together. That skank. I'm so glad Sam was able to learn the truth about her before she bought it. And she totally changed that voicemail, right? That look on her face... I just wanted to smack it right off. And now that we know the truth her "acting" really does make a lot more sense. It'll be interesting to see what re-watching season 4 looks like with this knowledge, ya know? And this bring up an interesting question --

3) Did season 3 Ruy have the same agenda as season 4 Ruby? Or did that whole thing not come together until Lilith kicked her ass back to hell in No Rest For The Wicked? It was just such a big change in attitude. I mean, I know something must have happened when Ruby was caste out, but is this it? Did Lucifer let her in on his plan as a test of her loyalty? I'm just not sure.

4) On a much more shallow note, mucho Dean/Castiel eye-fucking. It was glorious. :-D Though, that scene where Castiel shoved Dean against the wall and took out the knife, I swear he was gonna make Dean go Sam and drink his blood or something. Just for a second. But I was all, oh, please no...

5) And thank God Castiel got his head out of his ass and decided to do the right thing. I mean, he's gonna get his ass kicked at some point for what he did, but man, is it a good thing he did that. I really cannot wait to see what happens with him next season.

6) Sam didn't need the demon blood to do what he did. Which is so completely mind-boggling I'm not sure where to start. So, let's try and start at the beginning. Dean goes to hell. Sam feels it's his fault. Which it kind of is, but not really. You know. So, while Dean is away, Ruby comes back and prays on his fragile psyche saying she can get him to the demon that holds Dean's contract (Lilith) and then Sam can kill her. So, they start practicing. And it's going OK, but there seems to be something holding Sam back. At some point, Ruby suggests (I hope this was all Ruby's idea) that he drink her blood to get stronger. Something in Sam sees this as a good thing and an "excuse" to break down that mental wall that was holding him back. Think about it - Ava didn't need to drink demon blood to get as strong as she was. She was able to get there all on her own with just a little practice. Could Sam have gotten there on his own? Probably. So, why didn't he? Because he knew deep down somewhere that what he was doing was wrong. What was Sam's tipping point where he started to accept that the blood was a good thing? Was it while Dean was still in hell? And he wanted to use that to try and get Dean back? After Dean was resurrected? And Sam found out how broken Dean had become and he became even more determined to get his revenge and "fix" Dean? I'm thinking it must have been while Dean was still in hell. And here's why - if Dean had been around before, I don't think Sam would have gone there. I think Dean would have been able to pull Sam back from his path and find another way to get to Lilith. But Sam was so far gone by the time Dean got back that there was no hope at that point.

Wow, that was a really long paragraph.

7) So, now Lucifer has risen and where does this leave us? Dean is still going to need to send him back to hell. And we know Lucifer needed "a very special child." Why? Well, demons can't just roam the Earth as is, really. They need a vessel. Who better than our very own Sammy?

Next season is going to be AMAZING.

Okay, so I was gonna comment on this yesterday but I had all kinds of internet trouble. :P Anyway...

A big WORD to everything you said! Bobby lives and Ruby dies!! *cheers* Heh, I echoed that "Ding dong, the bitch is dead" in my review. ;) I was talking to my mom about it before, and she brought up something that scared me. She said "I hope she stays dead. What if Lucifer can bring her back?" No. Just... no.

As for #7, I think it's very possible...I think it was very deliberate the way they had Azazel ask Lucifer "what child?" and then they cut right to Sam in present day. I just hope that Dean can keep him from becoming Lucifer's vessel.

No. Ruby is dead. Ain't no way she's coming back. Though I do think A LOT of the issue I had with her was Genevieve's acting. I mean, I'm sure she's a very nice person and all, but it all just seemed so stiff and forced. I think the only way I could swallow Ruby ever coming back was in another host.

I think A LOT of next season is going to be dealing with Dean trying to kill Lucifer and keep him from getting at Sam.
