May. 19th, 2009 03:17 pmThis applies to paint, too. As we did not, we didn't see that it said to wait 4 hours between coats. We waited, maybe, one. And were all "Why does it still look like crap?" So, we'll be starting up again at 7:00 tonight. I hope we can at least get all that done. It's the kitchen. And it's navy blue. So it's dark. And I'd like my kitchen back. :-)

Date: 2009-05-19 11:28 pm (UTC)I HATE having my house in disarray. So I leave and let other people do stuff.
I had someone else paint my house, so I don't know how long they had to wait, but it was less than 4 hours. It must depend on the type or brand of paint...

Date: 2009-05-19 11:50 pm (UTC)He brought like his whole family here to paint, they were done in 4-5 hours. My whole place. Double colors. Tan and brown. With white trim and doors. I left and went meandering with Ripley, they painted. Worked well. =)
Well worth my time and energy to spend the money. Plus, I suck at painting.
Think of it this way -- it's 2 Gold tickets. :D
