This applies to paint, too. As we did not, we didn't see that it said to wait 4 hours between coats. We waited, maybe, one. And were all "Why does it still look like crap?" So, we'll be starting up again at 7:00 tonight. I hope we can at least get all that done. It's the kitchen. And it's navy blue. So it's dark. And I'd like my kitchen back. :-)

Yes following directions is very important. Also paint is on sale this weekend at the HD. I dunno if it's the same base or brand but I do know that paint will be on sale. So if you need more...wait till Thursday.

Also, I found a windchime, still in the box nothing broken or wrong with it WAAAAAAAYYYYYY back behind some stuff in garden today. Was so old it wasn't even in the system anymore. I got it for $3. Sweet. Payback for all the sweating I did today. Anyways, have fun painting!!!

I HATE having my house in disarray. So I leave and let other people do stuff.
I had someone else paint my house, so I don't know how long they had to wait, but it was less than 4 hours. It must depend on the type or brand of paint...

My guy wasn't expensive. He does side jobs. He's a Hispanic guy who works maintenance at my Mom's complex. Did my closet doors, too, totally custom because this is an older place so the dimensions are unusual and bigger. He takes pride in his work and does a great job.
He brought like his whole family here to paint, they were done in 4-5 hours. My whole place. Double colors. Tan and brown. With white trim and doors. I left and went meandering with Ripley, they painted. Worked well. =)
Well worth my time and energy to spend the money. Plus, I suck at painting.
Think of it this way -- it's 2 Gold tickets. :D

Sort of. Still have quite a bit to do. But the rest should be much easier than the kitchen.
