*snicker* Back when Star Trek was my main fandom, when I was like twelve, Wesley Crusher was my favorite character, my main man, blah blah blah. Then, of course, there came Daniel, and now Sam and Dean are in the mix. But anyway, yeah, I used to like Wil Wheaton...I'm not sure why I don't anymore. I know I used to follow his blog and I read excerpts from some of his books, and heard some of the audio versions where he was reading them at...somewhere. He's very funny.
Awesome!!! I may have to start downloading and watching the show once I finish SPN and Voyager. I am on episode 9 of season four of SPN and I am just starting season 6 of Voyager. It's all coming along nicely....
It's really good. I think you'd like it. Compared to other shows, it's a very simple straight-forward plot. No huge overarcing plot lines, bad guys going good to get back at other bad guys. It's a modern day Robin Hood! Plus, Timothy Hutton is quite awesome. As is Christian. :-D
Oh, and if/when you do get around to watching it, let me know. It wasn't aired in the order it was meant to be watched in. So, if you DL just the TV rips, some things are kind of out of order. I'll get you the real order. And the DVDs are out July 14th, anyway. :-)
I will inform you when I finish VOY and SPN. I will probably make a huge post with my thoughts about the Trek genre has a whole once I have finished watching it all. Also will probably post my thoughts about SPN as well, though it will probably largely consist of "OMG DEAN IS HOT AHJKFHKJHSDJHKJF" and stuff like that. Coolness about the DVS. Means I can maybe go to Blockbuster and just rent them. Faster than DLing.
