I finally broke down...

...and went to the mall to buy new jeans. I've still been wearing my maternity clothes for the last three weeks and just finally had enough. I want real clothes that fit. So, the new jeans are two sizes bigger than my usual, but that's OK. They fit and I can wear my regular clothes again and that's the important thing. :-) I've lost a good portion of the weight I gained when pregnant but I still have another 15 or so pounds to go to get back to my pre-preggo weight. I still haven't been given the clear to start exercising by the doctor yet. That's OK, too. We have lots of stairs and I've lost all of what I have just walking around the house and up the stairs for diaper changes. :-) I'll get there. Eventually...

I'm still the exact same weight I was 2 weeks after Griffin was born - I just can't shift those last 3 kilos and suspect I never will. Unless I get off my butt and do some exercise, that is, LOL. But I've found that even if you lose the weight, you still end up a different shape. It's weird.

My first pregnacy I was back to my pre-preg weight without even trying by 6 weeks. Now, my 2nd one is a different story. He's 11 (almost 12) and I'm still not there. Granted, I don't exercise like I should.

Yay for new jeans! I'm sure you'll have no issues shedding the last of the weight. :)

Here's to hoping you make the journey back to pre-preggo weight quickly! I never did, alas--but I'm cool with it.

New jeans are a good thing! I finally broke down and bought a pair, I'm in between sizes right now, ALMOST into the smaller ones. But since I like breathing and being comfortable, I gave up on trying to wait it out 'til I could fit into the "goal" jeans for the time being. 15 lbs down, only TOO MANY to go for me.

You know you'll get back down there without a problem. =) You've always been active, and those ballet DVD's will have you whipped into shape in no time at all!
