Well, I did it..... Again...

I chopped off all my hair. :-) I just couldn't take it any more. My "long" hair was too much to deal with in the morning when trying to look after Gabe, too. My hair is just so thick it takes so long to dry. This is so much nicer and easier. I ended up just going to the local Great Clips cos I couldn't wait to get in to see my regular stylist (sorry Candace). I do have an appointment with her at the end of August (the week before the con), so this was just to tide me over until then. But, I think she did a pretty decent job.

So, anyway, I'm basically back to this:



Which I did love. And was so much fun. So, yeah. :-D

You know what's funny, just before you posted that you were thinking of growing it, I told Candace that I missed MY hair. Let's see how long I last and if I miss it enough or just chop it all again. =)
I miss not having to put goop in my hair every day. I don't miss the hair iron. I want to see if she can style it medium length (just above my shoulders) in a way where it doesn't NEED a hair iron...

She did mention you were starting to grow yours a bit. The hardest part for me is getting through the awkward stage where it's like half-grown out. She does her best to keep it neat and tidy through that with the cut at least. I just don't really have the patience to deal with long hair any more...

I wonder if she'll yell at me when I go in for "cheating" on her.

I'm just now getting to the stage where it's getting unruly and I'm not sure what to do with it. Some days it behaves, and others, well, not so much. Like today, for instance. I was all "oh I need a haircut!". Oh, wait, no I don't. LOL

She didn't actually do too bad of a job. It's really quite a decent haircut for just being Great Clips. I did have her purposefully cut it just a little longer than I normally would so that it is sufficiently grown out when I see her in 3 weeks. :-)
