The Chicago Con is in a couple weeks and to be honest, this whole con is looking kind of meh. First, Jason had to cancel. I got to see him a couple years ago, so I'm not too disappointed, though I was looking forward to his concert Friday night. Then, someone on GW mentioned that the tentative schedule had been posted, so I went to take a look to see what was going on. The dessert party - Dan Shea. That's it. Um, not so much. I mean, he's funny and all, but really? No Shanks? No Flanigan? No Hewlett? Let down.

I think this just really confirms that this is going to be my last full out convention. I'll probably still do a day pass if any friends come into town (aka [livejournal.com profile] brihana25 or [livejournal.com profile] whisper99). :-D But other than that, pretty sure this is it for me. Is it weird that I want to tell Michael good bye? Like at the photo ops. I mean, we've kind of bonded. He for sure recognizes me now (in a good way, I think....). So, yeah... Anyway...

But I'm holding out a very slim hope that perhaps Creation will get Colin to replace Jason. Probably not, but a girl can dream...

This was another one that gets a check in the YES column. :-) I loved the development we got with Parker this week. She's definitely growing and coming into her own.

I think this episode also determines for me that Eliot is definitely an older brother. How he was with Corey was totally giving me that vibe. Though my stupid slash goggles totally skewed the last scene. When Corey was all "So, you're leaving?" and getting all teary, my brain couldn't help filling in "But I love you!" Ugh... LOL

Next week's ep looks reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally interesting. It's finally The Before They Were Leverage Job. I can't wait to see everyone!!!

If the stars have requested this then my apologies will go to Creation but I'm sure that the VIP thing was purely a way to grab more cash and play on the fans' desire to get close to their "favoured one"......

Oh, I'm sure this was all a Creation thing, too. I doubt this was the idea of any of the actors. And, yeah, JF went for over $1000. Each. So, that's like $10K they made off him. I mean, if this was maybe a charity thing and all the funds from the winning bids went there, I might be more understanding. But as far as I'm aware, it just all goes into Creation's pockets.

After my first con, it really did end up being about getting to hang out with my friends and all the actor stuff was incidental, if you will. I will be grateful to Creation for introducing me to some really great friends (you, Erin, etc), but I think it's getting to be time to move on. :-(
