Grrrrrrr...........

So I was attempting to make a Stargate music video since I've had it stuck in my head since I heard the song (Rob Thomas' "When the Heartache Ends"). So, my boyfriend is helpig me since he's all techno savvy and we get all the eps off the DVD into mpeg format and get the song off the CD. Last night, we go to start putting the thing together. We get the clips from the first ep and everything looks fine. We go to the next episode and the clip is at the end, so we go there. Well, it turns out, we only have the first half of each ep. For some reason, when converting to MPEG it only got the first half even though it said it was 44 minutes while it was doing it. So, never mind. Not gonna happen. Oh, well. I'm just frustrated cos nothing about the converting program said anything about it only being able to do a certain amount. It is freeware, so it's cheap, but it seemed to work really well. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr......

On the up side, 35 days til the Chicago Con!! 5 weeks! Yay!!!!!!!! :-)

How can people be this stupid?

How can someone work for a mortgage company and not know what a Deed of Trust is? That's the document that gets signed in some states instead of a "mortgage". It's the thing that lets the people have the money. The most basic document. And yet, they don't know what it is. Come on. Really. Training is a good thing. :-)
