So, remember when I had my little rant about Netflix sending me the wrong DVD last week? THEY DID IT AGAIN!!! I checked my queue this morning to make sure everything was in order since I knew that they would receive the disc I sent back today and then send out the next one. I sent back Season 3 Disc 4. Next up is Season 3 Bonus Disc. It was at the top of my queue and available immediately. I get an e-mail later in the day. They're sending me Season 4 Disc 1!!! The same one they sent me by mistake the last time. Are they trying to tell me something here? I just don't get it!!

Why do my packages never get delivered/shipped? First there was the whole fiasco with the Vala t-shirt. Now, my Season 8 DVDs haven't arrived yet even though they shipped A WEEK AGO!! And Mazz still hasn't gotten the fabric I sent to her on 9/29. Now, I realized Mazz lives on a different continent. But even the guy at the store said it should only take a week or so to get there. It's been TWO. What the fuck is going on?!?! I don't get it. How can the post office hate me so much? I'm really nice to them. I wait in line politely and everything. It's sooooo aggravating!! Grrrrrrrrr.

THe first Nutcracker rehearsal was last night. It was great to be back, but I've lost my husbands!! I had 2 husbands last year, and I don't get either of them this year. One has been promoted to Mr. Stahlbahm (Clara & Fritz's dad, the lead dad, basically). So, that's OK. He'll still be around. But my other husband just got a new job apparently (he's a lawyer) and is too busy to be able to take the time off to do it. :-( That makes me sad. The guy who is my husband this year is fine. He actually ended up subbing in one performance last year. But, he kinda gives off a bit of a creepy vibe. Not much, but just enough where it's a little uncomfortable. But it's OK. It's not like we're ever alone or anything. Plus he's married. It'll be fine. Oh! And I'm the only girl left from last year. Everyone else is new. That's kind of interesting.

So I was attempting to make a Stargate music video since I've had it stuck in my head since I heard the song (Rob Thomas' "When the Heartache Ends"). So, my boyfriend is helpig me since he's all techno savvy and we get all the eps off the DVD into mpeg format and get the song off the CD. Last night, we go to start putting the thing together. We get the clips from the first ep and everything looks fine. We go to the next episode and the clip is at the end, so we go there. Well, it turns out, we only have the first half of each ep. For some reason, when converting to MPEG it only got the first half even though it said it was 44 minutes while it was doing it. So, never mind. Not gonna happen. Oh, well. I'm just frustrated cos nothing about the converting program said anything about it only being able to do a certain amount. It is freeware, so it's cheap, but it seemed to work really well. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr......

On the up side, 35 days til the Chicago Con!! 5 weeks! Yay!!!!!!!! :-)

Sometimes, I really hate my muse. She never lets me finish anything before starting another. So I have all these half finished stories laying around that I'm trying to work on. But then she goes and put other ideas in my head so I have to start those before I forget and it's just a viscious never ending cycle. Grrrrrr. Oh, well. At least I won't be strapped for something to do. :-)

On a happy note, only 2 DAYS until the season premiere of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. I'm waaaaaaaaaay too excited for my own good about this. Oh, well. :-)
