There's this Yahoo group that I belong to for a Stargate fanfic website. Recently, they've started having "challenges" every month. It's usually some sort of writing thing. Based on a pic or captioning things. It's pretty fun and whoever can participate whenever they want. So, this month the "challenge" is sharing convention stories. Yay!! I love this cos it means I get to relive the fabu time I had in Chicago and get everyone jealous with the story of how Michael kissed me! And all the other fun stuff that happened. I can only hope next year is half as fun. Do anyone else do that? Just randomly relive past events cos they were SO MUCH FUN!! :-)

And I've decided to go get the star part of my Peter autograph tattooed on. :-D It was fading quite a bit so I had to go over it with a marker myself cos I won't be able to get there until Wednesday. But I'm very excited about it. Hehe!!

So, when we last left off, I had just been whumped by Tony Amendola. Wasn't quite sure anything else would quite live up to that, but, as you shall see, I was proven wrong. :-D

Well, yesterday was The Peter Williams Show!! Teryl was supposed to have had her Q&A yesterday as well, but a work commitment prevented that, unfortunately. She was able to make it for the cabaret (which I did not see) and will have her Q&A today. So, that's good.

It's finally here!! Almost. Well, 2 days away. Even though I kind of consider the convention starting tomorrow for me cos that's when I pick Erin up at the airport. :-) I'm getting soooo excited about this. And sooo nervous, too as many of you know. OMG!! SQUEEEE!!!!!!!! hehe!!

15 DAYS TO THE CHICAGO CON!!! It's almost here! Woo-hoo!!!

Um, not quite sure what I have to say today. Watched disc 4, S1 QAF last night. Thank God Michael and Brian are back together. So, yeah.

OMG! 1 month left til the Chicago Stargate Convention! I can't believe it's been a year already since the last one. And I swore that would be the only one I went to. So what happened three days after that? I bought tickets for this year! That worked out well. :-) Gonna be meeting lots of new people this year. That's always exciting. Might have to be looking after my hair dressers daughter one of the days or more, but that'd be fine. It's her birthday the weekend before so her mom was thinking about seeing if she wanted to go one or more of the days as a present. I thought that was nice. Anywho, Yay!!!

Got disc 2 of Season 1 of Queer as Folk from Netflix yesterday. Unfortunately, it was all scratched and started skipping during the second ep so I couldn't finish watching it. But that's OK cos they're sending a replacement and I should have it tomorrow. I love Netflix. :-D And Michael is so adorable on his date with the doctor. He is such the little kid that never grew up and doesn't care. They're at this fancy place, the doctor orders a bottle of wine and Michael orders a Diet Pepsi. Which comes complete with bendy straw! That's just such a classic moment. I want to see the rest of it!! And Justin. OMG, get a clue! But it's not like I don't know what happens, but still. You gotta kind of admire him though for not giving up. How many times has Brian told him to go away? But he doesn't. Probably only because he doesn't know any better. But you can tell Brian already cares about him. Even if he doesn't know it yet. He's always so gentle and tender and everything with Justin it's so amazing to watch. And his mom is great. Really. It must be really tough on her, too to be thinking that it's her fault or whatever. But she doesn't give up and they start bonding again. And the museum. Go Justin! He's turning into a right little slut, isn't he? It's fantastic!

OK. I think that's all for now. Time to get back to work!

37 days to the Chicago Stargate Convention!! Woo-hoo!!!

So, I just got the first disc on Season 1 Queer as Folk from Netflix yesterday. Watched all 3 eps. Well, it was actually four cos they had a "Special Edition" of ep 1 with the cast and creators doing on-screen commentary. That was pretty cool. But, OK, the opening title sequence and theme song were like really annoying. Definitely like the season 4/5 "Cue The Pulse to Begin" much better. Hope they change it soon. :-) Anywho, totally love the part in the hospital with Brian and Gus. So adorable. And then on the rooftop with Mikey. That was a great scene. Those two are so great together in terms of acting together and stuff. I feel really bad for Justin just cos he doesn't know any better. But he's this sort of brash 17 year old, I know what I want and I'm gonna get it even if the person that I want doesn't do that. And then him breaking down on the street. OMG, I'm so gonna cry.

Ted. Ted is so adorable in that scene with Blake in the street outside Babylon. But then Blake turns out to be a druggie and then I didn't like him so much anymore. I have seen S4, so I know how things work out, but I'm trying not to jump ahead in my head. Which is kind of hard to do.

In ep 3, I have one thing to say - GO JUSTIN!! That scene in Babylon was awesome. It was like "You don't want me? Fine, I'll get someone else." But then Brian goes to him and it's like squee!! OK. I'm totally lame, but I don't care cos it was a total squee moment for me.
