Woo-Hoo!!

12 days to the Chicago Con!!! OMG. I'm so excited. 12 more days and I will be a mere 2 rows away from this lovely man:

So, anyway, I didn't get to this on Friday cos I was busy, but here is how my day went. I had an orthodontic consultation in the morning. I've had braces twice, but nothing seems to have stuck, so I decided to go see someone else to see what could be done about it. Well, it appears my best option is for them to break my jaw and reset it to fix the overbite. See, that's what the real issue is. So, if that's not fixed, I'm gonna have to wear a retainer for the rest of my life. Yuh,no? But, the surgery is not really an inexpensive thing to do. *Sigh* Why does everything have to be so frickin' expensive? Grr.

But, it was Friday which means Stargate!!! OK. SG-1 was sooo great this week. It was a real STARGATE episode. Everyone doing what they do best. We had Daniel back in full force. If he wasn't an archaeologist, I would recommend he be an attorney. That man is a very persuasive feature. And I so love Vala more and more every week. I'm gonna miss her when she's gone. I'm also gonna miss the beard, oddly enough. I didn't really like it at first when I saw it, but it's really grown on me. The Ori are so bad. OMG. I can see why Daniel is scared. These guys are really a force to be reckoned with.

Atlantis was pretty good. Ronon is really coming along as one of the team. Rodney is back in fine form. Always love him. :-D

No Queer as Folk this week. :-( Never again. *sigh* But that's what DVDs and Netflix is for. :-)
