And y'all love ticky boxes, you get to help choose my hair!!

My preferred hairstyle is short and just out of the way. It's quick, it's easy and it looks pretty good, too. But there was a time a couple years ago when I was doing the Nutcracker that I got it grown out to that inverted chin-length bob thing. And, well, I kinda liked that, too.

But I'm not sure which actually looks best on me. So, tell me!

And what about color? I'd like to start getting back toward the blonde, I think. But sadly I don't have the money to keep doing salon color (hence my home color adventures) and I that going to be kind of hard to maintain by myself. So, what about it?

I love the short cut! You totally have the facial structure to pull it off to.

You've got great bone structure that only short pixie hair can show off! Brunette with highlights is always good for covering up those pesky greys.

Thanks, hon! I do like the highlights. All over blonde is very high maintenance.

If you can find a (good) brunette shade you can easily do it (single tone) at hom. I have been for years and its always been pretty easy.

Yeah, I think it's a matter of finding the right color. I used to color my hair all the time at home before finding a good salon. Not sure what my issues have been lately... LOL

I'm going against the grain here I guess and voting for the chin length. I think it gives the sharper lines in your cheekbones and such a finer more feminine touch. I am not sure if that's what you want but I think that it suits you, especially being a mommy and all that. ;-). I also like the blond but I also like the color to. I think you do well with blonde with highlights.

That's kinda what I was thinking with the chin length hair, too. But I wasn't sure if it was just me... I do think it also kinda helps camouflage my huge schnozz, too. LOL The short cut is fun and funky and all that. But I have had it for awhile now.

Hmmm... Decisions, decisions....

I think you rock both cuts! I envy your ability to pull off the shggy pixie haricut, I would love to have hair that short but could never make it look good :-(
As for colour, whatever works! I gave up colouring my hair complete 3-4 years ago, partly out of curiosity to see what my natural colour even was! Turns out it's only a slightly lighter brown than I'd be colouring it, so I've gone au naturale! The few greys show thru, but luckily I can get away with it. What's your natural colour? The brunette in the photo is a lovely colour, has quite a lot of red in it.

I chopped it off back in high school and never looked back. It was one of the best things I ever did. I firmly believe that every woman should do it once in her life. It's actually really empowering to just cut it all off. Kinda gets you out of that "I am woman. I must have long hair or no man will find me attractive" thing so many women seem to have.

Sorry, strange tangent....

But, anyway. I do think they both work well enough. I just have a habit of getting frustrated going through the growing out phase and giving up. LOL But if I do decide to grow it out, I'd like to get started on it now so it can be in fairly decent shape for the summer and hopefully fully grown out for the SPN con and photo ops. Is that horribly narcissistic of me? ;-)

LOL, yeah I agree with you - I actually did have short hair for about 3-4 years while I was still in the US, but I'm heavy enough that longer hair looks nicer. I do dream of cutting it off again tho :-D

I vote for either Chin Length Pixie or Shab Bob. :D

As for color, I'd have to see, like a computer projection of you brunette. But I think, with your skin tone and eyebrows, you could probably pull it off.

Well, brunette like it is in the shaggy cut. Which is mostly my natural color with some blonde highlights and red lowlights. One of which will have to go away due to money. So, just trying to find an easy maintenance color I can mostly do on my own....

I've always liked longe hair (so I'm prejudiced) but the darker color is definitely YOU!

The short cut for sure. It works so well for your facial structure. Either color looks nice, IMO but I picked brunette.

Ooh, that's tough. I think both cuts look great on you, although I think I like the brunette a little better than blond :)
