Isn't it purty?? [livejournal.com profile] notasinglelady kindly gave me permission to use her amazing Kurt as a Snow Nymph/Blaine as a Wood Nymph art. I totally fell in love with this when she posted it and I just couldn't stop staring at whenever I went through my picture folders. She's so talented. Further explanation, in case the reference is lost on you, as well as the original art post can be found here.

So, it looks like we're going to New York next month now. Sort of. My paternal grandmother has decided to throw herself a 90th birthday party. She lives in New Jersey, not far from the NY border. Since it would be nice for Martouf to get to spend some time with her while he can, it looks like we're heading out. It helps that she is going to pay for everyone's hotel and rental cars. And flights out of Milwaukee are actually rather reasonable. So, yeah. Looks like we're going. And my mom mentioned that if we did go, she and my dad would watch the baby Saturday night if we wanted to go into New York City to do something. My first thought? We are going to see How To Succeed In Business with Daniel Radcliffe. I hear it's an amazing show and, well, DANIEL RADCLIFFE!!! I just hope I can hubby to agree to my plan.... ;-)

Ballet is going well. For me, at least. The flabby bits are definitely starting to get less flabby. ;-) Martouf still hasn't been back. He's actually getting over a cold this week, so I didn't want to take him. I guess maybe we'll try again in two weeks? *fingers crossed*

Off to Vegas in 5 days!!! Tomorrow is cleaning day to get our house ready for my folks to come stay. And the beginning of laundry to make sure everything I want to take is clean. Yay.

And I think that's it. What's new with you?

Yes by mid May that crazy will be over, but the year end trips to the city will start pouring in ;) damn tourists lol

Free Saturday night in the city = win. If you're looking for some good restaurants near theater district for dinner, lemme know I'm more than happy to help share my little secrets.

Restaurant tips would be great! Hubby has charged me with planning the evening out and, if he agrees, then he will go. We're sort of picky eaters, but a good steak house or Italian restaurant would fit the bill. :-)
