Leverage
Another great episode. Loved the Mystery Dinner/Costume Party set-up. Their costume designer is amazing. Sophie looked amazing. Eliot in the bowler hat & ascot was top notch. Parker as Nancy Drew was GENIUS. And Hardison looked quite dapper in the letterman's sweater and cap. And Nate, well, Nate was Nate. LOL

I actually figured out who it was pretty early on this week. But I think this story was less about the "Whodunit" and more about how are they going to figure it out and then get out of there. Though, before I realized who was guilty, I kinda wanted Sophie and him to have a little thing and maybe make Nate a little jealous.

The team thinking Nate could have killed the mark... Hmm.... It's interesting, but I'm not so sure about that. He's pretty much admitted he's a thief and not such a good guy any more. But it's a big leap from there to murderer. It'll be interesting to see how that changes the dynamic for the rest of the season.

Falling Skies
Was it just me, or did it seem like there was a lot missing from this episode? Especially at the end. In the sense that it was running like 15 minutes long and they just had to chop a bunch out. It was mostly with what was going on back at the school and the guy with his kid. Like, they were talking in the other room when the radio started going nuts and everyone was like, "No one's in there." The guy was all, "It's my son!" How did he know?? He left his son lying in the infirmary. I mean, I suppose he could have deduced that it had to be his son cos no one else was around, but they way he was talking it was, "I know it's my son in there. That's where I left him." or something. And then when they got to him and he ripped the harness off, again, he was, "He put the harness on voluntarily!" HOW DO YOU KNOW?? YOU WEREN'T THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED??? It was driving me nuts!!

Oh! And when Moon Bloodgood's character had the theory about the aliens and the radio static and Steven Webber was all, "You want me to look for a radio in their head?" No, you idiot. She wants to dissect the brain to see if her theory of their brainwaves being similar to our radio waves is true. WHY DID NO ONE SAY THAT AND CALL STEVEN OUT ON BEING AN ASS???

Ugh. They kind of lost me this week. I don't know. I hope next week it gets better.

Okay I have to ask your opinion on something from Leverage-

(And let me preface this with- I don't know if you ship, who you ship, etc for the show)

What did you think of the scene in the hallway between Parker and Hardison where he called her "Baby Girl" (When he was working with the breaker box, she was talking about the dimensions of the hallway and asking if he got 'that thing where people are scared of small spaces')

I kind of just glossed over that. It's probably my least favorite term of endearment, but it does seem in character for Hardison. So, didn't love it, but I can hand wave it.

While it does seem in character for Hardison, I'm not entirely sure that Parker would take it so lightly. (Though in my head? She just didn't hear him because she was already in the secret passage ;))
