Did you hear? Matt Bomer was on Glee! LOL And I gotta say, he was awesome. I loved getting to see him be a little comedic. That commercial was a riot.

And, okay, so I know I should be absolutely flipping out over what happened and what we got in this episode and for some reason, I'm not. And it's weird. I don't know why. I don't know what's going on. Like, this was ALL DARREN ALL THE TIME and the most I can muster myself up to say from a personal reaction level is that it didn't suck. But, for some reason, I'm not all flaily and rending my garments as should be expected For fuck's sake, we GOT NAKED BLAINE. And, meh. Whatever.

What is going on? This sucks. I don't like this feeling.....

Technically/logically, I can say this was a good episode. The songs were very well sung and seemed to flow well within the storyline. Matt Bomer really was amazing. His interactions with Darren really sold them as brothers to me. I hope we can maybe see him back some more in the future.

The Senior Skip Day thing confused me. Cos, well, half the kids that skipped weren't seniors. Umm........... WTF Glee? I know. It's Glee. But come on! If you're gonna make a big deal about what year the kids are in the first episode, at least keep that one thing consistent. Please?

I liked Quinn's development. Her reaction to what's happened to her seems very believable for her situation and character. I like Artie trying to help her. I do feel like he was kind of harsh on her with the whole, "When are you gonna realize that this is your life now?" But, again, that's I think very in line with Artie.

Sue's baby has Downs. How very not surprising.

I'm glad Cooper & Blaine made up at the end. Though, again, not surprising that they did.

Kurt & Blaine were ridiculously adorable in this whole episode. Kurt with that puppy at the end was gaggingly cute.

So, yeah.....

I felt the same kind of uneasiness, and the thing that wasn't right about this episode (for me) was that it didn't focus more on Blaine and Cooper (which is insane, I know, bear with me). I do not give a shit about Sue's baby, nor Senior Skip Day. I think sharing the Blaine & Coop storyline with Quinn's would have been enough for an episode, but Glee has a tendency to jam AS MUCH AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE into an episode and therefore strip a lot of the complexity of stories. So what we go was the surface problem of Blaine and Coop and none of the complexity. We don't see Cooper being a real brother to Blaine, he only tells us that he is. And that leaves the story feeling a little drier than it should have been.

HAVING SAID THAT.

OMG, Blaine pulling his shirt off, boxing, and then in the shower??? I died just a little bit.

You know? You have a very valid point. That might be it. So often, each scene is like 2 or 3 minutes and then it's on to the next. Like, we get the "tell" but not the "show".

But, yeah, that boxing & shower scene? slkdmhf;sjhgzdshb

*squee* Matt Bomer is made of win. The commercial was too funny. I loved Kurt's reaction when he found out that's who Blaine's brother was. :D

Jealous!Blaine was hot. So was Boxing!Blaine and Shower!Blaine. Yeah. Very nice.

Okay, lost my train of thought. ;)
