and it's funny because right before that scene I was thinking of how their relationship has really grown throughout the show-Henry has (somewhat) started to treat Shawn like the adult he his and Shawn has actually started to communicate with his dad.
I was expecting something else to happen when there was still 10 minutes left and they had already solved the case. Totally didn't expect that, though. Wow!!
It was overall a decent episode. Not exceptional as a finale. Until the ending, which totally made my jaw drop. Lassie was sorely missing throughout. He had a couple scenes but I felt like he wasn't around enough. It gives me this sinking feeling that the focus on Henry was meant as a swan song. *whimper*
I hope we haven't seen the last of Henry. Perhaps it was written the way it was to be open ended depending on the renewal situation. I don't know. Psych has never really struck me as a show to that would go that route, you know?
Right?! I knew *something* was going to happen, since they wrapped up the case early, but I was hoping it'd be a marriage proposal, not poor Henry getting shot!
He better live! But yes, the show is coming back in the fall.
