The Bungalow

I had a very odd dream about Colin last night. I must have been in Burbank cos Chelle & Kris were there, too. But the con was in a school or something like that because there were all these small rooms where everything was. So, we go into one, no idea who's there and he's like facing the front for some reason, not the rest of the audience. We've come in late and take a seat. Chelle decides to lay down on the floor. So, the guest turns around and IT'S COLIN!! OMG SQUEE!!!!!!!! :-D Anyway, he looks absolutely adorable and also has braces. Why, I have no idea. We have to introduce ourselves, cos I guess everyone else did. When he gets to me, he asks how I spell it and is like "I'm gonna have to write that down!" I'm all "OMG! Colin wrote down my name!" Then we chatted for a bit. I asked about Best in Show. Then he made some comment about how we were going to go view an autopsy? Which was just completely out of left field. But then I woke up and that was it. But it was definitely odd.

I had this dream this morning right before I woke up. And I had to share cos a few of you, my lovely flist were in it. :-D Don't worry, it's nothing bad.

Anyway, there were a bunch of us that were out at the Indiana house, because we were apparently all going to a wedding (as I learned later in the dream). Erin and Pat were there for sure. But it seemed to be mostly Chicago Con folks. And Dan Payne and a friend of his were there, too. Now this being a dream, the house was not quite the same, either. It mostly was, just a few small changes. We were all in the den/living room or wherever, laughing and generally having a good time. And I went to go check on Dan and his friend in their room to make sure they were getting settled in all right. The floor in their room, is like a trampoline. It was more the feel of one of this blow up bouncy houses, but the springiness was definitely more trampoline like. We were talking for a bit and we go to leave to join everyone back out in the other room. And apparently I'm having issues walking on the bouncy floor, so Dan scoops me up and carries me back out being the big strong man that he is. :-D And then he gives me a kiss on the cheek. And it was definitely not just a friendly little peck. And I think I gave him a kiss back. Which was odd, because I was definitely married as I remember having my rings on.

The dream then kind of skips forward and we're all playing some strange trivia type game and I'm on Dan's team. And every time we get an answer right, he kisses me. On the lips. Again, no tongue or anything, but they were not just friendly little pecks. There was one in particular I remembe where I was sitting in a chair and he was standing behind me and I leaned back and he leaned forward and it was an upside down thing. Very strange.

So, jump forward again and I'm changed into a little black dress and am making my way towards the wedding reception. It seems the IN house is on the same grounds. And I'm really in a rush to get there cos I want to see Dan in a suit. Cos, he'd look totally hot, right? So, I find the table and sit down and then NICOLE KIDMAN sits down at the same table. We exchange Hellos and she asks "Are you feeling better?" I reply that I am, unaware that I had really been feeling bad. She then launches into this thing about how she was worried about me after my behavior last night and I gather that she's talking about me kissing Dan while being married. Very strange. And then I realize that I had forgotten my purse, so I leave to go get it and then I woke up.

Damn! So I never got to see Dan in the suit to anyone else. But it was just the strangest thing. Oh, well.

I seriously had the wackiest dream last night. It started off like the reveal at the end of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (for you non-US people, that's a show where they find people that really need a new house and build one in a week. Very touching and sappy). It was like I was there as part of the build team, but also not. ANyway, there was this pool in the middle of the living room. It was a pool room, but it was where the living room should be, not out back or something. Then it morphed into this sci-fi Star Wars/Lord of the Rings/Dungeons and Dragons thing. There were monsters and beasts and I was in disguise and sword fighting. Totally crazy. Not scary at all or anything. Just completely nuts. I wonder if it has to do with the Velveeta shells and cheese I didn't eat for dinner last night. Huh. Oh, well.

On a happy note, my boyfriend and I are doing dinner and a movie tonight. Been awhile since we've done that. We go to movies all the time, but this is the first time where it's been like dinner and a movie DATE. Think we're gonna go see Two For the Money. I'm on a Matthew McConaughy kick after seeing Sahara again the other day. :-)
