The Bungalow

I have 1 ticket for sale for the evening show in Chicago, Saturday June 4th. I am asking for face value: $104, but will take $100 for it. The seat is in section 216, row L, seat 61. As I do not use Pay Pal I am asking for payment in the form of a Cashier's Check or Money Order. I do have the ticket in a PDF format, so it can be emailed to you as soon as they money is received.

Long story short, I had 3 tickets, but 4 of us wanted to go so I ended up getting 4 tickets to the afternoon show, instead. My mother in law has the other 2 tickets from this set that I purchased. In case you care.... LOL

There was this band called Mike & Joe playing at this local bar. My boss was telling me about them and it sounded like it would be a good time. So, she texted me when everyone was heading over there so I went to join them. It was a really good time! They just do covers. But it was like a Greatest Hits show of all my favorite bands. They did everyone from Blink 182, 311, Matchbox Twenty, O.A.R., Fallout Boy, etc. It was a great show. They play all around the Illinois/Indiana area. So, if you're around and want to see a good show, you should check them out!

Train was THE BEST CONCERT EVER!! Honestly, it was better than Matchbox Twenty/Rob Thomas (sorry, wraith816, you can have Rob, now). It was so amazing, you just have to go. Let me attempt a review....

We were in the 4th row of the main section, off to the side on the aisle (yay!), and there were about 4 rows in the "pit" up front, so our seats were most excellent. The opening act was an artist named Brandi Carlisle. She was really excellent. Kind of sounded a bit like Melissa Etheridge, but a little more rock. She had that same kind od lower/raspy voice. And she used a cello! But, she was awesome and I highly recomment checking her out of you are looking for new music. (And if you happen to live in the Chicago area, she is coming back to do a show June 2 at The Metro. Tickets on sale now!)

So, then Train started. They opened with Skyscraper. Not what I thought they'd do. It's one of the slower songs on the album. I thought for sure they would open with Get Out. Oh, well. They played songs from every album (including All American Girl). And next time I go to a Train concert (and I will go again), I am sooooo getting front row seats. During "She's on Fire," Pat pulled these three girls (they were about 8-10 years old) onto the stage to sing the chorus with him as the Trainettes. It was so cute. Then during "Save the Day" when the song goes into the bridge, he pulled this other girl from the front row on to stage and sang to her. She was sitting on the front of the stage and he was like nuzzling her ear and singing right to her and OMG, it was so great. And they dropped balloons at one point. They closed with a cover of Dream On that just rocked the house and shot off confetti canons. It was so cool.

Y'all have to go see Train. They are just so cool and I can't get enough and I am now obsessed with Pat Monahan. :-D
