I don't do this very often, but I found this one yesterday, and it's pretty much perfect. It's a Doctor Who (with Jack)/Firefly crossover. I know, it sounds wacky and strange. But this author did it so well, that I could see it really happening somewhere. Everyone is perfectly in character and the plot that brings everyone together is entirely plausible. There's some really fantastic stuff between River and the Doctor. And this really lovely scene between Jack & Inara. Kaylee is adorable as ever. Rose is brilliant. It's just, you have to read it. It's called Out of Joint. Just go read it now. You won't be sorry.

"I've heard the CW is considering bringing [Firefly] back as a series, miniseries or movie for next season. Hurrah! For you who missed my message board posting, on Tuesday, Nate Fillion, Summer Glau and Gina Torres were seen coming out of one of the exec buildings at Paramount, where they are putting together the new CW unit."
How awesome would that be?!?! CW is the new network the WB and UPN are forming. I really hope this is a good thing....

OK, so you know that saying "It's a pleasure doing business with you"? Well, there's also the reverse "It's a business doing pleasure with you". Does someone wanna make me an icon or a wallpaper or banner or sig or something with Inara on it that says that? I would soooooooo love you forever and write you whatever story you wanted in return. As long as it was a short one. :-D

Oct. 20th, 2005 11:57 amSo, my Season 8 DVDs have been lost in the mail. Further proof that the United States Post Office has it out for me. They just don't want me to be happy. But, Amazon has sent out a replacement shipment. Which I should get tomorrow. *Fingers crossed* Along with Firefly! Yay! I figured I should just buy the set. It was only $30. I can do that. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that the post office actually delivers this time.
