The Bungalow

So, I'm watching Hostage on USA. Ya know, that Bruce Willis movie from a few years back. Well, I gotta tell ya, the book is really about a gajillion times better. I mean, I suppose I could be biased since Robert Crais is my favorite author ever. He's really awesome. I've met him a couple times, too, at book signings. He's very nice and cool and awesome. But I think I've said that. Anyway, this book Hostage, is actually slightly off from his normal writing. He has this "series" about a private detective named Elvis Cole and his partner Joe Pike. Hostage is an independent book and he has one other called Demolition Angel that has apparently been in development for awhile, as well. Sadly, he will never sell Elvis and Joe. Which is kind of a pity because Michael Shanks would be perfect for Joe. He's described as being tall and lean, brown hair and piercing blue eyes. Sound like anyone else? LOL Anyway, if you like the movie at all, check out the book. You won't be disappointed. :-)
