So, when did all cuts become spoiler-cuts and is there any way to make that stop? Seriously. When I put in a cut, I WANT A CUT.

Fucking LJ....

I'm still having it. I actually just ended up changing back to the layout I had before as I can seem to get the various CSS fixes to work and make the icons show. However, on my newest layout that I like a lot, NOTHING I do seems to be working. The code is HERE. I think the issue is that the code that's for the tiny icon is very different from the code that is mentioned HERE. It does use Flexible Squares, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I've tried adding the !important tag and using the new icon generator thing (that works for this current layout). WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?!?

I would love LOVE LOVE to be able to get the issue fixed for the newer layout as I like it a lot and have made a bunch of new header images for it that I would like to use. Any help any of you might be able to point out to me would be greatly appreciated.

I FIXED IT!!

I deleted the little part of the code that looked like it dealt with the user icons and tacked on the fix that worked on the other layout and it works here, too! Yay!

So, all the userheads have disappeared from my view. My userhead, my friends' userheads. Did LJ break something (again) with the new roll out? Anyone know how I can get them back?

I'm still not over these pics. I don't think I'll ever be. I have 6 headers made so far, but this is my favorite. There will be icons coming, too.

I was LJ had a way of telling you if posts you've made have been added to other people's favorites/memories. Like for fics and stuff, it would be kind of cool to see how many people have "remembered" a story to come back to later.

I come back from work and find that I have less than a page of entries to catch up on. That NEVER happens! I always have at least 2 pages to get through. Anywho....

And on a related Stargate note, I'm writing a new slash story! Yay!!! This makes me very happy as I have not had any J/D inclinations for quite some time. Erin, I'll be sending it your way for a beta when I'm done. :-)

But I am seriously, like, in complete awe that I am now "friends" with

riverfox. I've admired your fics for so long, that it sometimes boggles my mind that, like, we talk and comment and have "conversations." And now I'm going to get to meet you in a month!!

Does anyone else ever have these thoughts? Like, through LJ or Gateworld or some other fan-site you become friends with people you admire? Or am I the only freak? LOL :-D

I've been using the Smooth Sailing layout pretty much exclusively since I joined LJ, but I'm thinking about shaking things up a bit. And so, I turn to you, my lovely f-list. Tell me about your layout (especially those of you with header images). What do you use? How do you use it? CSS? Which I don't really understand. Just a custom header code? Which is what I have now. How easy is it? What do you like about it? What do you not like?

So, I created some filters since I belong to a bunch of communities that I don't always want to see right away. I created one that has all my regular friends and a couple communities and I checked the box next to it for wanting that to be what I view on my friends page. But, when I go to my friends page, it's just everyone. Do I have to go into the filter thing and click on that every time I just want to see my "favorite" friends? Is there anyway to keep that set? Or is that wishful thinking?

I have become like the biggest LJ whore. I'm on here more than Gateworld now. I've joined all the communities and challenges. Gah! It's insane!! But I LOVE IT!!! :-D
