But I am seriously, like, in complete awe that I am now "friends" with riverfox. I've admired your fics for so long, that it sometimes boggles my mind that, like, we talk and comment and have "conversations." And now I'm going to get to meet you in a month!!

Does anyone else ever have these thoughts? Like, through LJ or Gateworld or some other fan-site you become friends with people you admire? Or am I the only freak? LOL :-D

When I first got into writing fan fic etc I came across stories by cincoflex. I tentatively emailed and IMed with her, telling her how much I enjoyed her fics. We got to talking, and we've been very good friends for about 4 years now. I haven't met her, as I live on the East Coast and she lives on the West, but I totally know where you are coming from. You're not the only freak. ;)
