But I am seriously, like, in complete awe that I am now "friends" with riverfox. I've admired your fics for so long, that it sometimes boggles my mind that, like, we talk and comment and have "conversations." And now I'm going to get to meet you in a month!!

Does anyone else ever have these thoughts? Like, through LJ or Gateworld or some other fan-site you become friends with people you admire? Or am I the only freak? LOL :-D

I will be meeting riverfox at the Vancouver Con. Her friend (execknowitall by happenstance) has purchased my Preferred Weekend Pass that I had for sale as a birthday present. Isn't that sweet?? :-)

I believe a few others will be there: spacemonkeyphd2 (all the way from London(ish)!) and duck_wrangler (aka Miss Elle). Not sure you've run across them around LJ or other places or not. I'm kinda jealous, but there was no way I could afford to go right now, price of ticket or time away from work.
