So, half-way through season 5 of Buffy and Season 2 of Angel.

Still want to slap Buffy most of the time. Glad to see there's some sort of plausible explanation for Dawn's existence beyond "We're ignoring our own canon." James Marsters is really the only reason I'm still watching the show at this point. This whole in-love-with-Buffy thing is intriguing. And now he's going to have a Buffy robot? WTF?? Though Spike in "regular" street clothes. Pretty hot. ;-)

Angel season 2 is WAY better than season 1. I'm actually all "OMG! What's gonna happen?!?!" at these episodes. Darla and Drusilla = AWESOME! And my pal Tony as a demon. Very cool. I was watching that ep, and was all "I know that voice. How do I know that voice?" Head over to imdb, and, yup! It's Tony! :-) That was fun.

And, yeah. That's all for now....

No B5 yet?? *sad* Maybe once you run out of Buffy to watch....or become sick enough of her to turn to quality entertainment. ;-)

yeah buffy started to loose steam in season 4 and it kept going down hill through s5 and s6.. but thank goodness it picked back up in s7... same thing happened with Angel in S3, and then it picked back up to the good ol' days in s5.. so atleast you have some things to look forward too..

Ah. Glad to hear there's some bright news on the horizon. Even if it is far away... LOL

Um, yeah. About that. I did pop in the first DVD last night. Made it through about 10 minutes. I'm sorry. It's not good. To me, anyway. You may love it. I just can't.... :-D

Well the first season does truly and well suck. It's not truly necessary to watch the first season either to understand the rest of the series. But I understand if you just don't like it. I doubt very much I'll ever watch an episode of Dr. Who. Or Buffy. ;-)

OK then. Perhaps I'll try season 2, see if it's any better...

Hey if you try season two, I might actually watch some of your good Doctor. I'll even let you pick the season (because I have such faith in your judgment about good quality television...Buffy notwithstanding ;-))

Oo! I get to pick?? Yay!! If I only get the opportunity to show you a few eps, it would have to the Utopia arc at the end of season 3. It's where we find out what happened to Jack when he ran out of the hub at the end of TW season 1. 3 of the best hours of television every created. Seriously.

Ahhh anything with Capt. Jack in it makes me very happy. And anything TW related means I might actually understand what's going on in the show too.

Excellent! Perhaps then I may have to show you the full Captain Jack arc going back to season 1. In that, we get naked Jack and leather pants Jack. Yum!

I certainly think Angel found its groove in Season 2. You're coming up to my favourite arc, containing Reprise, Epiphany, Disharmony and Dead End. It got better and better, IMO, culminating with Billy in Season 3, and then David Greenwalt left, and after that I feel it suffered somewhat.

Oo, excellent! Why do the good people always leave and the show falls apart? *cough*Atlantis*cough* :-D

Buffy five is pretty bad. Six is actually good (I like the villains in six) and seven is great. Hang in there. You'll be glad you did. Angel dips is season four, but his fifth season is gold.

I'm not finding too much redeeming about season 5 at the mo, other than Spike. Seriously, just like, get rid of Spike and Dawn and I'll watch everyone else. :-)

I just started watching Buffy over again. I can't wait until I get to the parts with Spike. He was always the hottest my favorite character.
