So, this was the series finale for Torchwood? Cos, really, is there anywhere they can go after this? Jack's gone. Ianto, Owen and Tosh are dead. Gwen probably wants NOTHING to do with Torchwood after everything she just went through.
All in all, Day Five was kind of a letdown. It was just like Boom! Over. Done. There was all this build-up to the problem and then 5 minutes to solve it. I hate when that happens. If the solution was that "simple" why didn't they think of it earlier? Oh, and Jack killing his grandson?? That was the Jack from 1965. Cos I don't know that Jack. That kinda pissed me off. What they ended up doing to Jack's character. Assholes.
Burn Notice
Michael Weston was a GREAT guest star. LOL He definitely played the crazy very well. I liked the job this time around and how it developed. I wonder if we'll see any continuation or further repercussions from this.
Harper's Island
I had downloaded episode 13 not realizing I hadn't seen episode 12. So the "Previously On" stuff had me scratching my head a bit. It is sitting on my DVR so I'll be going back to watch that.
That said, "Hi dad"??? WTF?? I was starting to realize it was probably Henry cos everyone else was just TOO OBVIOUS, ya know? But as to they why and all that I did not see that twist coming. I'm still a little
over the whole "Henry wants to fuck his sister" part of the thing. And WHY did he have to kill everyone? I mean, is being psycho hereditary now or something? I'm just a little confused by the whole thing.I am glad that Abby and Jimmy got off the island. And Shea and Madison. I wonder if anyone will ever go back to that island...
